disneyland valentine's

had a mini vacation with friend going to disneyland's sweetheart nite

the castle had heart projections and it was so pink LOL
mainstreet and its a small world were also decorated with projector lights

first treat of the night: cakepops
we had disney cakepops back in 2019 when we visited disneyland and decided to do so again

(from august 2019)

the highlight was the beignets!! first time having one and regretted only ordering 3 (；д；)

dinner at cafe orleans. it was a prefixed 3-course menu with options.
(spoiler: it wasn't worth the $50 per person imo oops)

appetizer: i got the panzanella salad, friend got the sausage potato leek soup
both were good but my salad had so many tomatos?? and big chonky ones

entrees: i got trofie pistachio pesto pasta, friend: chicken pork belly pappardelle
both were good, nothing really outstanding imo..kinda sad since i was hoping for more..

dessert: passion fruit lemon meringue tart & creme brulee
we got each and both were super!! thank you for ending my dinner with delight (*´∀｀人 ♪

the event had so many specialty food stalls around. there were some we didnt get to try because of how full we got. sad!! but we did get a strawberry churro with choco sauce and a frozen strawberry tea (drink was pricey tho, it was like $12 wtf) but good!!

also missed the fireworks show because my dumbass booked dinner during the show time T_T

the event had an hourly Royal Ball where a handful of disney OTPs come together to dance!! it was such a cute and fun experience watching them.. im too shy to dance (/∀＼*) i was also too occupied being in awe of rapunzel and eugene..my otp!! punzie even started a congo line. aside from the ball, the event had a lot of photo ops with a number of disney couples. i dont think rapunzel and eugene had a booth this year but i would have waited forever to take a cute pic with. i did manage to take a selfie with them during the ball tho

overall the event was really fun and always nice to beat the anaheim heat during the day. the foods were fun to try and i think cafe orleans change their menu every year but idk if i'd do that again after this exp lol

BUT i'd definitely go to this event again ヾ(o´∀｀o)ﾉ

i forgot to write about this but nov 28-dec 4 2022,
i got to spend a week with some of my favorite people: kehau, jess, & chelsea @ disney world

day 1: arrival night
had a mcdonalds dinner and just chilled w/ pokemon SV

day 2: magic kingdom
took advantage of being in contemporary resort and used the monorail to get to the parks close by.
mainly wanted to get through the iconic rides and got all of them i think?!

ended the night with dinner @ Cítricos within the Grand Floridian
really great food!! i enjoyed my filet mignon. the grilled broccoli was one of my favorites

day 3: epcot
visited the worlds and it started to storm midday. luckily we were done with the park by then.
ALSO the guardians of the galaxy ride was super amazing!! (((o(*ﾟ▽ﾟ*)o)))

stopped by the germany spot to get a pretzel and it was pretty disappointing (stale!). jess did not approve

day 4: christmas night @ magic kingdom

hotel switched outside the park, bye convenient transport. there was an outlet mall closeby so we looked around.

we stayed at the Hilton Tuscany Village. very nice place

after some chilling, we got ready for the christmas event.
it was pretty fun!! something about disney at night always feels cozy to me. we did a snack rally since
they were passing out different cookies and drinks during the event. (they were too sweet and i couldnt eat them all)

ended the day with a firework show at the castle and it was so pretty! the castle lit up to music that was playing

day 5: animal kingdom & hollywood studios
by this time a lot of us were pretty sore from previous park walking and didn't do much for this day

im not sure what is hollywood's iconic landmark and just took pic of the first thing u see when u enter

day 6: chill day
shopping at disney springs. escape room and we beat it!! then had dinner meetup with jinkz & taru ♪(/・ω・)/ ♪

day 7:
morning departure..byee friends ｡ﾟ(ﾟ´Д｀ﾟ)ﾟ｡

feet hurty but it was worth it!! i got to spend the end of the year with my close friends
and i had a lot of fun!! hope to visit again soon (*´∀｀人 ♪

ONE OK ROCK

no OC-tober for day 19 because i bought a last minute ticket to ONE OK ROCK show in oakland and i loved it!!! it was my first time going to a band concert and im sososo happy it was them
